Among all participating banks in India, top 1000 Visa Debit cardholders by transaction get Rs. 500, next 100,000 cardholders get Rs. 100 as Cash Back in every qualification period.
Minimum 4 successful online transactions required to qualify.
Transactions below Rs. 300 will not be considered as qualifying transactions.
This promotional offer is valid for 4 qualification periods from 15 March 2014 to 15 July 2014.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Visa Debit Cashback Promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to all holders of Visa
Debit cards (excluding Visa Business Debit cards and Visa Commercial Debit cards)
issued by participating banks in India that offer the Verified by Visa service to their Visa
Debit cardholders (“Cardholders”). Visa Debit cardholders should contact their card
issuing banks to confirm if the Promotion is open to them and/or for any further details
relating to the Promotion. In the event that a card issuing bank is not participating in the
Promotion, then Visa Debit cardholders of such bank will not be able to participate in the
Promotion.
2. The Promotion will be held during the period from 15 March 2014 to 15 July 2014 (both
dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion Period is divided into 4
qualifying periods of 1 month each (“Qualifying Periods”), the details of which are as
follows:

First Qualifying Period 15 March 2014 to 14 April 2014
Second Qualifying Period 15 April 2014 to 14 May 2014
Third Qualifying Period 15 May 2014 to 14 June 2014
Fourth Qualifying Period 15 June 2014 to 15 July 2014

3. During each of the Qualifying Periods, based on the information available on Visa’s
proprietary network and the information as reported to Visa by the participating financial
institution clients of Visa, Visa will identify Visa Debit cards (excluding Visa Business
Debit cards and Visa Commercial Debit cards) (each a “Card”) which meet the
eligibility criteria described below:
(a) the Card is issued by a participating bank in India which has enabled its Visa cards
for Verified by Visa as at the beginning of the relevant Qualifying Period;
(b) during the relevant Qualifying Period, the Card has been used to complete four or
more successful “Card Not Present” transactions. Each transaction shall be for a
minimum of INR 300 (Indian Rupees Three Hundred). Transactions below INR 300
will not be considered for the purposes of the Promotion;
(c) For the purposes of the Promotion, ““Card Not Present” transactions” shall mean
transactions where the Card is not physically present at the time of the transaction, Promotion. March 3, 2014

such as an eCommerce (Verified by Visa), MOTO (mail/telephone order) or
recurring payments/installments transaction);for a transaction done on or through the
World Wide Web, it must have been subjected to additional authentication/validation
(second factor authentication) based on information not visible on the Card (such as
that offered under the Verified by Visa service), in accordance with the regulations of
the Reserve Bank of India; and
(d) the Card has not been identified or selected for the Promotion in any preceding
Qualifying Period.
4. During each Qualifying Period, Visa will select, from the Cards that have met the
eligibility criteria, 101,000 Cards with the highest number of successful “Card Not
Present” transactions made during a Qualifying Period.
(a) For each Card, a maximum of 20 successful “Card Not Present” transactions with
merchants in each Merchant Category (as defined by Visa based on the nature of the
merchant’s business) will be considered for the purposes of calculating the number of
successful “Card Not Present” transactions in each Qualifying Period.
(b) In the event that 2 or more Cards have the same number of successful “Card Not
Present” transactions during a Qualifying Period, the Card(s) with the highest
cumulative purchase amount on successful “Card Not Present” transactions made
during a Qualifying Period (“Cumulative CNP Purchase Amount”) will be
selected.
(c) In the event that 2 or more Cards have the same number of successful “Card Not
Present” transactions and the same Cumulative CNP Purchase Amount during a
Qualifying Period, the Card(s) which met the eligibility criteria (set out in Clause 3
above), the Card(s) that has been used the earliest will be selected.
5. All selections will be made based on the information available on Visa’s proprietary
network and the information as reported to Visa by the participating financial institution
clients of Visa.
6. For each Qualifying Period, the top 1,000 Cardholders whose Cards have been selected
(based on the criteria set out in Clause 4 above) will each receive a cash back amount of
INR 500 (Indian Rupees Five Hundred) and the next 100,000 cardholders whose cards
have been selected will receive a cash back amount of INR 100 (Indian Rupees One
Hundred)
7. Visa will inform the relevant card issuing banks of selected Cards (as selected in
accordance with the criteria described hereunder pursuant to the Promotion) issued by Promotion. March 3, 2014

those banks and will provide the cash back credits to such card issuing banks through
Base II credit to their respective settlement BINs. The card issuing banks will then
provide the cash back amounts to the selected Cardholders, no later than 90 days from the
end of the Promotion Period.
8. The cash back amounts will be credited by the Cardholder’s card issuing bank into the
Cardholder’s account with the bank under the narrative “Visa Debit Promo Cashback”,
which will be reflected on the Cardholder’s card/linked bank account statement. Visa will
not be responsible for any delay in the posting of credits by the card issuing bank into the
selected Cardholders’ account.
9. The selected Cardholders will only be entitled to the cash back and will not be entitled to
compensation or benefits in any other form.
10. Except as specifically stated herein, Visa makes no other warranties or representations
(whether implied or otherwise) relating to the Promotion or the cash back amounts to be
given thereunder.
11. All selections and/or decisions made by Visa in relation to the Promotion (including
without limitation, the selection of Cards for the cash back) will be final and conclusive.
No enquiries or complaints will be accepted or entertained. Visa will not be obliged to
publish the details of selected Cards or the selection process. Cardholders should contact
their card issuing banks if they have any queries or complaints regarding the Promotion.
12. In no event will Visa be liable for any losses or damages howsoever arising whether in
contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Promotion, even if Visa
has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are
expressly excluded.
13. The Cardholders under the Promotion will be personally responsible for all taxes, rates,
government fees or any other charges that may be levied against them under applicable
laws, if any, in relation to the Promotion.
14. The Promotion is purely promotional in nature and Visa may, at its sole discretion,
discontinue the Promotion at any time, whether prior to or during the Promotion Period,
without prior notice.
15. Visa reserves the absolute right to, at its sole discretion, amend, vary and/or withdraw
any of the terms and conditions of the Promotion without prior notice.
16. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions of the Promotion and any
promotional and marketing materials regarding the Promotion, these terms and conditions

17. Nothing contained herein will, or will be construed to, constitute a contract under the
laws of India (including without limitation, the Indian Contract Act, 1872) between Visa
and/or any Cardholder .
18. No claim or participation in the Promotion is valid in combination with any other offer or
promotion.
19. Participation in the Promotion is voluntary.
20. Cardholder will be liable for any personal tax implications arising due to any cash back
received pursuant to the Promotion.
21. The Promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of India.
